Ugh my first Dental Visit

Ok so I got in to see my ortho and it seems the assistant at my dental office did actually loosen my expander. So they had to PULL my expander out. My ortho gave it a bit more "activation" then put it BACK in my mouth. My guns were already sore from 24 hours of metal rubbing up and down it. So it was a bit painful and my gums were even bleeding a bit. :( On a brighter note my orthodontist said that my expansion is doing great and that my bottom arch wire and braces can be put on during my next visit. So now I'm getting a bit nervous and excited all at the same time. Well I'm off to bed. I did my hour of yoga and now I'm sleepy.

UGH

Ok so today I went for my annual dental check-up and well lets just say I'm NOT thrilled. The girl doing my x-rays was very nice but didn't seem to fully know how to do the x-rays with my expander in my mouth. At first she actually tried to pull it out AFTER I told her it was cemented in there. ugh That hurt bad enough. THEN she jams the films in my mouth moving one of my bars. So tomorrow I now have to go BACK to the ortho to make sure my quadhelix is still in there right and working fine. I'm in a bit of pain right now too. So that blows ass. This process has actually been a lot different than I thought it would be. I knew nothing of bands,expanders,spacers, brackets or any of the other orthodontic braces nick-nacks lol So far it's been an interesting ride. Hmmmm I wonder how different it will be to do naughty things after I get my braces on. heehee

It's getting eaiser...

Well it's now day 16 with my orthodontic expander and I must say it's quite easy to talk now but I'm still having issues eating. :( I now have a long list of foods I can't eat lol That damn list seems to keep getting longer. I'm actually looking forward to getting braced at this point. At least I wont have bars in the roof of my mouth.... at least I hope not lmao. I have to go to the dentist on the 26th to make sure all of my teeth are ok. Then I have to make an appointment to have 2 more teeth pulled. I guess I should be getting to bed. Thanks to all my braces fetish fans for sending me sweet emails.

On my way to Las Vegas

Well all I will be flying off to Vegas on Tuesday. So I might not update for a few days. I'd like to explain a bit as to why I started this blog and what it's for. Word had started getting out that i was about to get orthodontic braces. I got a few emails asking would I be allowing my fans to come on this journey with me. I hadn't really thought about it but after thinking about it for a bit I thought it would be cool to dedicate this blog to all my braces fetish fans out there. So that is exactly what I am doing. I didn't know much about the orthodontic braces fetish but I am willing to learn. If you have any ideas for photo shoots after I get my braces on please let me know.


As of right now my expander isn't hurting at all *knock on wood* I just feel a bit of preasure in the upper part of my mouth. Talking has gotten A LOT better. Eating??? well yeah I'm trying to eat only things my orthodontist told me to. I have been eating a lot of smoothies and stuff. I have my next appointment in 4 weeks to make sure everything is doing what it should be. I'm hoping the ortho was right and I'll only have the quadhelix for 10 weeks and NOT 6 months.
