Sorry I have posted in awhile. I had a death in the family so blogging hasn't been at the top of my list. My made my very first dentist appointment since getting my braces for my 6th month cleaning. We shall see how THAT goes. I have to go on the 30th and then on the first I have to go in for my next adjustment. I still have my pink power chain. I'm thinking I might stick with pink for awhile. It's actually called "violet" but after a few days the purple fades and it turns pink. Either way I love both colors so it's all ok with me lol I got my car accident settlement check. YAY for being in fucking pain bc some lame ass doesn't know the difference between green and red. UGH but I'm not bitter HONEST. Is there honestly enough money to take away pain? Some say yes some say no. I say I don't care give me my pain meds lol Well it's 6:30am I need to get my booty to bed. I haven't been sleeping much.

The banding from HELL
ok so I got my 5 and 6 teeth on the lower left side banded. Easy right? Nothing in my life is easy lol I dont even know where to start. My 15 minute appointment turned into an hour and 10 minutes. Ok the first lovely lady who worked on my teeth couldn't get the band around my tooth bc of the size of my filling or whatever. She's VERY nice and I felt soooo bad for her bc she was trying so hard. I medicated myself before I went in so I wasn't feeling much anyway. Well she's trying to fit the bands and BAAAMMM she stabs the lower part of my mouth. Blood is going all over the place. She stuffs cotton in my mouth and soak up the blood. Poor thing. I was trying tot tell her it was ok and I was ok. I felt so bad for her. She then traded places with her co-worker who finished up my banding an adjustment. I got violet ligs again YAY!!! I was sore the next day but nothing a 800mg of motrin couldnt cure. You know what i think the banding was harder on the workers than on me.

UGH Spacers STILL suck. I lost one of them (translation: I pulled the sucker out lol) BIG mistake. I went back this mornign to get it replaced. The hole had closed up just that fast. SO they put it back in. I thought I was going to die. it hurt that bad. OMG I HAVEN'T BEEN IN THAT MUCH PAIN IN YEARS!!! The moral of the story is LEAVE YOUR SPACERS IN!!! ugh. I go back at 8:20am to have my two teeth banded. I hope there is enough room for them to put the bands on. If not I have to wait a few more days which I don't want to do. I had to break out the dental wax again today. I cut the inside of my lip and the cut was just gettign worse so I put some wax on it. Pain pills are a GOOD thing *smile* Speaking of which....it's that time again. Mmmmmmm pills.
